Rao Bahadur Story

Rao Bahadur is an upcoming Telugu psychological drama with elements of fantasy, dark comedy, suspense, and magical realism, written, directed, and edited by Venkatesh Maha. The film stars Satya Dev in the titular role alongside Deepa Thomas, Vikas Muppala, and Anand Bharathi in pivotal roles, with several other supporting actors playing key characters. Story Plot

The story follows Ramappa Rao Bahadur (Satyadev), an elderly man suffering from a terminal illness who lives a lonely and isolated life. Although doctors predict that he has only a few months to live, Ramappa continues to defy medical expectations and survives far longer than anyone anticipated. Despite his physical resilience, he is emotionally shattered by a tragic incident from his past, believing that he was responsible for the devastating event. The guilt, along with a haunting suspicion, torments him like a relentless nightmare and gradually consumes his peace of mind.

As Ramappa's final days unfold, the film explores his deep bond with his lifelong friend and personal physician, Achari (Vikas Muppala), who does everything possible to keep him from sinking into despair. It also reveals why Renuka (Deepa Thomas) reluctantly agreed to marry Ramappa, the reason he chose to adopt a son, and the humiliation and hardships his adopted son had to endure. As the mystery surrounding Ramappa's haunting suspicion slowly unravels, the film reveals whether he finally discovers the truth behind the tragedy and how his extraordinary life ultimately comes to an emotional and meaningful conclusion.
