Kattalan Story

Kattalan is a power-packed Malayalam action thriller directed by debutant Paul George, introducing an exciting new talent to the industry. Frontlined by Antony Varghese, the film delivers a perfect mix of adrenaline-pumping action, emotional depth, and gripping storytelling.

The script for the movie, written by the acclaimed writer Unni R, explores themes of survival, loyalty, and morality in a world marked by chaos and conflict. Produced by Shareef Muhammed under Cubes Entertainments, Kattalan boasts an ensemble cast featuring Kabir Duhan Singh, Parth Tiwari, Telugu actor Sunil, Jagadish, Siddique, Rajisha Vijayan, and rapper Baby Jean, who elevate the film with their compelling performances.

Visually striking and technically sharp, Renadive’s cinematography captures the film’s gritty essence, while Shameer Muhammed’s crisp editing maintains a tense and engaging rhythm. Complementing the visuals, B. Ajaneesh Loknath renowned for his work in Kantara delivers a rousing score that intensifies the film’s emotional and action-packed moments.

Story 

In the Kolli region of Kerala, a ruthless mafia kingpin named Mari (Sunil) brutally kills elephants and smuggles their ivory, expanding his criminal empire to an international level. However, Eddie (Kabir Duhan Singh) emerges as a major obstacle and challenge to Mari’s smuggling and mafia operations. With the support of his brother, SP Harish Shankar, Eddie constantly disrupts Mari’s activities and refuses to let him operate peacefully. To counter Eddie, Mari recruits Antony (Antony Varghese) as a driver in his gang and uses him to carry out the illegal ivory smuggling business. But Antony, who is considered Mari’s most trusted aide, eventually turns against him.

How did Mari continue his illegal elephant ivory smuggling network and expand his mafia empire internationally? What led to the intense rivalry and conflict between Mari and Eddie? How did the gang war between the two escalate? What daring plans and risky missions did Antony undertake for Mari? How did Antony stop Eddie’s gang from attacking them?
