The Odyssey Story

The Odyssey is a Hollywood epic action-adventure fantasy film written, directed, and produced by Christopher Nolan, based on Homer's timeless Greek epic poem of the same name. The film stars Matt Damon in the lead role as the legendary warrior Odysseus, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Himesh Patel, Mia Goth, John Leguizamo, Benny Safdie, Samantha Morton, Cosmo Jarvis, Will Yun Lee, and several other prominent actors. Story

After the Trojan War, Odysseus (Matt Damon) chooses to live in exile instead of returning to his Greek kingdom. Before leaving for war, he tells his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) that if he never returns, she should remarry and move on with her life. However, Penelope vows that there will never be another man in her life besides Odysseus. Despite widespread rumors that the legendary Greek king is dead, she firmly believes he is still alive and patiently waits for his return.

Convinced that his father is alive, Telemachus (Tom Holland) sets out on a dangerous journey to find him. Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Ithaca, the ambitious military commander Antinous (Robert Pattinson) seeks to seize power by forcing Queen Penelope to marry him, hoping to claim the throne for himself.

What conspiracies unfold in Ithaca after Odysseus disappears? What extraordinary adventures and life-threatening challenges does Odysseus face during his years of exile?
