Biography

Pawan CH is an Indian film music composer, programmer, and background score composer who primarily works in the Telugu film industry. A graduate of A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory, Pawan began his musical journey by working as a music programmer and arranger under the Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman. During this phase, he contributed to several acclaimed projects, including Mersal (2017), 2.0 (2018), Bigil (2019), and Dil Bechara (2020), gaining valuable experience in film scoring and music production before making his independent debut as a composer. Pawan made his debut as an independent music director with Sekhar Kammula's romantic drama Love Story (2021), starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. The soundtrack emerged as one of the biggest musical successes of the year, with songs such as "Saranga Dariya," "Nee Chitram Choosi," "Ay Pilla," and "Evo Evo Kalale" becoming chartbusters. His melodious compositions, combined with a soulful background score, earned widespread appreciation from audiences and critics alike, firmly establishing him as one of the promising young composers in Telugu cinema. The success of Love Story also brought him industry-wide recognition, with veteran composer A.R. Rahman publicly extending his best wishes for the film and its music. Following his successful debut, Pawan continued to compose music for Telugu films, including Rangabali, where he explored a more commercial and energetic musical style while maintaining his signature melodic approach. Over the years, he has been recognized for blending contemporary orchestration with Indian musical sensibilities, creating songs that resonate with both younger audiences and family viewers. His background score has also been praised for enhancing the emotional depth and narrative impact of the films he works on. Pawan CH continues to build a diverse body of work across Telugu cinema and remains one of the industry's emerging music directors. His latest project is the upcoming rural family comedy-drama Pallaburusu, directed by Uday Chauhan and starring Sudhakar Reddy, Muralidhar Goud, Prajwal Yadma, and Gomathy. Scheduled for a theatrical release on August 14, 2026, the film marks another significant addition to his growing filmography, with expectations that his music will complement its village backdrop and family-oriented narrative.
