After a successful theatrical run, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s romantic drama Dhadak 2 is all set for its digital release. Fans who missed the big-screen experience can now enjoy the much-awaited film from the comfort of their homes. Here’s when and where to watch Dhadak 2 on OTT.
Dhadak 2 is a romantic drama directed by Shazia Iqbal and written by Rahul Badwelkar and Shazia Iqbal. Produced by Karan Johar, Umesh KR Bansal, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa, and Somen Mishra under Dharma Productions, the film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles. Supported by a talented ensemble cast, Dhadak 2 blends romance and drama, delivering an engaging sequel with heartfelt storytelling.
Dhadak 2 tells the story of Neelesh (Siddhant Chaturvedi), a lower-caste law student, and Vidhi (Triptii Dimri), his upper-caste classmate, whose romance faces fierce societal prejudice. Humiliated for his caste, Neelesh endures harassment while Vidhi awakens to her family’s bigotry. The film is a powerful, raw commentary on India’s caste system wrapped in a gripping love story.
Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, hit theatres on August 1, 2025, and earned an estimated worldwide total of ₹29 crore. Out of this, the India net collection was ₹19.87 crore, while the India gross stood at ₹23.44 crore. The film also recorded an overseas gross of ₹3.50 crore. Made on an estimated budget of ₹60 crore, including promotions, the movie fell short of recovering its costs.
