Filming for Vidaamuyarchi started on 4 October 2023 in Azerbaijan, after being delayed due to Ajith Kumar's world tour. The first schedule finished in early November, and the second schedule is expected to end by 29 January 2024. The team returned to Azerbaijan in June 2024 for the final schedule, with the climax shot in Baku. Though the original plan was to finish by mid-August, filming will now be completed after Ajith finishes his October 2024 schedule for Good Bad Ugly.
