But it is also true that many such films are still made in Bollywood which Hollywood copies. And in this list, there are some such Hindi films that Hollywood also copied and got a lot of applause. Some are from the 70s to 90s era and some are from recent years, and their impact on the audience is still present which is quite transparent.

Darr: A Violent Love Story was released in 1993, casting Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Sunny Deol, this is one of the best movies in Hindi cinema. And Fear was released in 1996 featuring Mark Wahlberg, Reese Witherspoon, William Petersen, Alyssa Milano, and Amy Brenneman. The plot of both these films is similar as one beautiful lady falls in love with a gentle person without knowing that there is someone who loves her and wants to get her at any cost.
Directed by Ram Gopal Verma, starring Aamir Khan, Urmila Matondkar, and Jackie Shroff. This movie was released in 1995 and recieved huge appreciation from the audience. Whereas Win A Date With Tad Hamilton! was released in 2004 featuring Kate Bosworth, Topher Grace, and Josh Duhamel. Both are romantic comedy films and share the same story line.

And Just Go With It was released in 2011, starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Nick Swardson, and Brooklyn Decker. Both of the movies are based on the 1969 popular American screwball comedy movie "Cactus Flower".
This romantic comedy film was released in 2007 starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, it is one of the cult classic movies in Indian cinema. On the other side, Leap Year was released in 2010, starring Amy Adams and Matthew Goode. This movie was highly criticized due to the lack of chemistry between the leads. Leap Year was strongly inspired from Jab We Met.
A Wednesday was released in 2008, directed by Neeraj Pandey, casting Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Sheirgill, Deepal Shaw, and Aamir Bashir. And A Common Man was released in 2013, directed by Chandran Rutnam, starring Ben Kingsley, Ben Cross, Patrick Rutnam, and Wilson Gunaratne. This film is officially a remake of Bollywood movie A Wednesday.
2012 movie Vicky Donor is one of the most popular and unique movies, produced by John Abraham, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam, Annu Kapoor, and Dolly Ahluwalia. Delivery Man was released in 2013 Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt, and
Cobie Smulders. This movie is much inspired by Vicky Donor which is inspired by a Canadian movie Starbuck.
