From Parth Samthaan To Rishita Kothari: Meet The Starrer Cast Of Seher Hone Ko Hai, With Photos

The television drama Seher Hone Ko Hai has emerged as a major talking point since its debut in late 2025. Centered on hard-hitting social issues such as child marriage and the fight for education, the show has captivated viewers with its raw and realistic depiction of deep-rooted cultural norms. Marking a significant milestone, the series recently celebrated the completion of 100 episodes on JioHotstar.

Making a strong return to television after nearly five years, Parth Samthaan plays Mahid in Seher Hone Ko Hai, an influential young man torn between tradition and modern science. Off-screen, the actor recently stepped away from social media after facing alleged personal attacks, sharing his disappointment over fake accounts and online negativity, and revealing that the situation deeply affected him. 

In the television serial Seher Hone Ko Hai, Rishita Kothari essays the titular role of Seher, a determined young woman who aspires to become a doctor despite facing societal and personal challenges. As the daughter of Kausar, played by Mahhi Vij, her journey revolves around breaking barriers to pursue education, with her mother striving to give her a better future. Even as Rishita addressed rumours of on-set tensions and an alleged fallout with co-star Parth Samthaan.

Marking her much-awaited return to television, Mahhi Vij takes on the role of Kausar in Seher Hone Ko Hai. As a pivotal character, Kausar’s life journey forms the emotional backbone of the story, shaping the narrative with her strength, struggles, and determination. 

Vaquar Shaikh plays Parvez in Seher Hone Ko Hai, a man firmly rooted in tradition and deeply committed to family honour, who ultimately decides that Seher must marry Mahid. A seasoned performer with a career spanning over three decades, he recently garnered attention for his role as Yashdeep “Deepu” Dhillon in the popular show Anupamaa. 

Apurva Agnihotri plays Dr. Farid in Seher Hone Ko Hai, serving as a mentor to Mahid and bringing a voice of logic and rational thinking into the narrative. A well-known actor and model, he first rose to fame as the antagonist Rajiv in Pardes (1997) and is widely celebrated for his iconic role as Armaan Suri in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin.
