Chandralekha, considered one of the finest Malayalam films, originally had Manju Warrier in mind for a lead role offered by director Priyadarshan. However, she declined the offer for personal reasons. The movie, released in 1997, emerged as a blockbuster hit of the year, starring Mohanlal, Sukanya, and Pooja Batra in the lead roles.

Prior to appearing alongside Mammootty in the film 'The Priest,' Manju Warrier was offered a role in the movie 'Kaliyoonjal.' However, she declined the opportunity, citing personal reasons. Eventually, she went on to collaborate with Mammootty in 'The Priest.'

Reports have revealed that the actress was offered a chance to share the screen with the acclaimed Mohanlal in the movie 'Usthad'. However, she turned down the opportunity due to scheduling conflicts. This action-thriller, directed by Sibi Malayil, was released in theaters in 1999.

The director Harikumar approached the actress for a leading role in the movie. However, she turned down the offer, with the reasons for her decision remaining undisclosed. Despite her refusal, the film went on to become a blockbuster.

Reportedly, Manju Warrier decided to step away from the directorial venture 'Kaapa' by Shaji Kailas due to scheduling conflicts. According to reports, during that period, the actress was engrossed in the filming of her Tamil project 'Thunivu.'
