Box Office Sensations: Top Highest-Grossing Malayalam Films Of Early 2024

Mammootty's latest action drama, 'Turbo', has made a significant impact at both domestic and international box offices. Released in theaters on May 23, the film grossed Rs 70 crore globally in just 11 days. Directed by Vyshakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the action comedy features an ensemble cast including Anjali Jayaprakash, Shabareesh Varma, Bindu Panicker, and Dileesh Pothen in pivotal roles. Prithviraj Sukumaran's 'Aadujeevitham' directed by Blessy, has impressively entered the Rs 100 crore club just 25 days after its release. Based on Benyamin's acclaimed novel of the same name, the film narrates the harrowing tale of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer who is forced into slavery on a secluded farm in the deserts of Saudi Arabia. Prithviraj Sukumaran delivers a powerful performance as Najeeb.
