Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is an action thriller drama released in theaters on August 10, 2023, and received excellent responses from the audience as well as critics alike. Starring  Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role, the film is produced by  N.K. Mohammed. However, Sun Pictures has reportedly declined this request and intends to proceed with the same title. They have also moved the Madras High Court over this matter. After then, the makers of Malayalam Jailer announced as the official release date of the movie on August 10, 2023. But later it was postponed avoiding a clash with Superstar Rajnikanth's 'Jailer'.

The reports are to be mentioned that the Malayalam movie 'Jailer 'was postponed due to the unavailability of screens for the movie. Because the reason is that the release of the Tamil movie 'Jailer' was announced on the same date and pre-booking for the Superstar's movie has already created a record. According to the latest reports, the Malayalam movie 'Jailer' will be released in theaters on August 18, 2023. Directed by Sakkir Madathil, the film features Dhyan Sreenivasan, Manoj K.
