The actress confirmed the news on July 8 by sharing two photographs from her wedding ceremony on Instagram. In the post, she simply wrote, "Hitched. 08-07-2026," while tagging filmmaker Srikanth Nagothi, confirming that the two have tied the knot.

The wedding photos, which show the couple participating in traditional Hindu rituals in what appears to be an intimate ceremony attended by close family members, quickly drew attention on social media. While neither Swathi nor Srikanth has shared further details about the event, the images suggest that the wedding was held privately rather than as a large public celebration.

Who is Srikanth Nagothi?

Srikanth Nagothi is a Telugu filmmaker known for his work as a writer, director, producer and lyricist. He made his directorial debut with Bhanumathi & Ramakrishna (2020), a romantic drama that was released directly on an OTT platform during the pandemic and introduced him to a wider audience.

He later directed Month of Madhu (2023), a relationship drama starring Naveen Chandra and Swathi Reddy in pivotal roles. Besides directing the film, Srikanth also contributed as a producer under his banner, Handpicked Stories Pvt. Ltd, and wrote the lyrics for the song "Oh Na Madhu". The film marked Swathi's return to Telugu cinema after a gap and has now become an important milestone in both their personal and professional lives.

Swathi's career

Swathi first gained recognition as the host of the Telugu television programme Colours, a stint that earned her the nickname "Colours Swathi", which has remained associated with her throughout her career.

She transitioned to films with Danger before earning widespread appreciation for Ashta Chamma, a performance that established her as one of the prominent young actresses in Telugu cinema.
