Peddi OTT Release: After its theatrical release last month, Peddi is set for its digital premiere. The Telugu sports action drama, which hit cinemas on June 4, 2026, features Ram Charan in the title role alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani. Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film combines sports with a story centred on identity, discrimination and perseverance.

Set across two timelines, 1994 and 2016, Peddi follows a sports ministry official who visits a remote tribal village in Andhra Pradesh after learning about the legendary figure of Peddi, whose life has inspired generations of athletes. As the story unfolds, it traces Peddi's journey in a neglected village that has long struggled with discrimination and a lack of recognition. Blessed with exceptional sporting talent, he sets out to fight for his community's identity and basic rights after a personal tragedy changes the direction of his life. His journey highlights the challenges faced by the village and the role sport plays in bringing attention to its long-standing demands.

Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas and co-produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment. The film is presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

The technical crew includes cinematographer R. Ratnavelu, editor Navin Nooli, production designer Avinash Kolla, and music composer A. R. Rahman, who has composed both the original score and soundtrack. The choreography is by Bosco Martis, while Sanath PC handled the visual effects supervision. The film's music has been released under the T-Series label.

Following its theatrical release, Peddi is now set to arrive on OTT. The film will begin streaming on Netflix from July 9, 2026, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The Hindi version will also stream on Netflix, although it has been announced as coming soon, with a release date yet to be confirmed.

With its OTT debut scheduled for July 9, viewers who missed Peddi in theatres will soon be able to watch the film from home. The availability of the movie in multiple South Indian languages at launch, along with the Hindi version arriving later, is expected to make it accessible to a broader audience on the streaming platform.
