Maa Inti Bangaaram Box Office Collection Day 2: Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Film Crosses ₹25 Crore Worldwide

Maa Inti Bangaaram Box Office Collection Day 2: Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Telugu action-comedy drama has registered a noticeable jump at the box office on its first Saturday, helping the film cross the ₹25 crore mark globally within two days of release.

Directed by B. V. Nandini Reddy, the film arrived in theatres on June 19 and features Samantha in the lead role alongside Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Gautami and Sreemukhi. The project is also significant as it has been produced under Samantha's banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, along with Raj Nidimoru and Himank Reddy Duvvuru.

According to trade data published by box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Maa Inti Bangaaram earned an estimated ₹7.50 crore net in India on its second day. The film had opened with ₹5.35 crore net on Friday, taking its two-day domestic net collection to ₹12.85 crore.

The film's performance improved considerably on Saturday, with overall occupancy rising from 31.9 percent on its opening day to 44.6 percent on Day 2. The increase suggests that the film benefited from the weekend audience turnout after a relatively moderate start.

The Telugu version continued to drive the film's business. Of the ₹7.50 crore collected in India on Saturday, the Telugu market contributed approximately ₹7.15 crore, while the Tamil version added around ₹0.35 crore. The Telugu version recorded an occupancy of 51 percent across more than 2,000 shows.

Apart from its domestic run, the film has also generated revenue in overseas territories. Reports indicate that Maa Inti Bangaaram added ₹4 crore overseas on Saturday, pushing its international gross total to ₹10.60 crore after two days.

With domestic and overseas earnings combined, the film's worldwide gross collection has now reached approximately ₹25.50 crore. The India gross stands at around ₹14.90 crore after the first two days in theatres.

Maa Inti Bangaaram: Story, Cast and Crew

The story of Maa Inti Bangaaram revolves around Swarna, a woman attempting to build a peaceful life within a traditional family while keeping a dangerous past hidden. When threats from her former life begin to surface, she is forced to confront old enemies in order to protect her loved ones.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the central character Swarna, also known as Jhansi. The supporting cast includes Gulshan Devaiah as Karuna, Diganth Manchale as Dr. Anirudh, Gautami, Sreemukhi, Manjusha Mukkavilli, Chaitanya Krishna and others. Vennela Kishore makes a cameo appearance.

The film's technical team features music composer Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer Om Prakash and editor Dharmendra Kakarala. The screenplay has been written by Raj Nidimoru and Vasanth Maringanti, with additional screenplay contributions from Prahas Boppudi.

As of June 21, the film has entered its third day in theatres, with the Sunday collections expected to play an important role in determining its opening weekend total. Industry observers will be closely watching whether the weekend momentum continues and helps the Samantha-starrer post a stronger first-weekend figure at the box office.
