Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update June 18: Abhira To Fight Tanya’s Divorce Case; Armaan Supports Her

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: Tonight's (June 18) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opens with Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) sitting alone and calculating the family's expenses. Ever since she lost important cases, including the Kulkarni case, financial pressure has increased. She feels guilty about depending on Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) savings, wondering what will happen in the future if they continue spending from it.

Meanwhile, Maira and Mukti discuss Armaan's illness and how to keep their knowledge about his tumor hidden from Abhira and Armaan. Maira fears that if they stop school trips and activities, the couple will suspect something and feel guilty. Mukti agrees to support Maira, even though they may have to tolerate some criticism. Maira emotionally admits that earlier she used to do things for fun, but now she wants to do everything for Armaan's happiness.

Abhira suddenly receives an anonymous call. A stranger offers her a new case and promises a huge amount of money. However, Abhira firmly states that she works for justice, not money. The caller insists that she come to a particular location, arousing her curiosity.

At home, Maira and Mukti gift a planter to Armaan and try to act normal. Armaan senses that both girls have been unusually concerned about his health. Maira cleverly diverts the conversation, saying the plant will bring positivity to everyone. When he notices Abhira's excitement about a new case, he jokingly remarks that her sparkling eyes reveal everything.

Abhira asks him to prepare tea for her so she can enjoy it after returning from work, and Armaan lovingly agrees. Abhira reaches the location mentioned by the caller and is surprised to discover that the client is Tanya. Tanya desperately wants to separate from Krish and asks Abhira to fight her case.

Initially, Abhira refuses. She doesn't want to become involved because of the long-standing rivalry between her and the Poddar family. Tanya reveals how much humiliation and emotional suffering she has endured in her relationship with Krish. She explains that no one understands Krish and Sanjay better than Abhira and begs her for help.

Despite Tanya's emotional appeal, Abhira declines and leaves, causing Tanya to break down in tears. Back home, Armaan decides to make tea and cook for Abhira. Vidya calls him and is surprised to hear that he is working in the kitchen. She wonders why there are no servants around and why Armaan is doing household chores himself.

To prepare tea, Armaan realizes that the gas cylinder is empty. He takes Nilesh's help and heads out to get a replacement cylinder, hiding the situation from Vidya. While arranging the gas cylinder, Armaan and Nilesh are busy outside. At the same time, Abhira unexpectedly witnesses Krish humiliating and shouting at another woman. Seeing his behavior firsthand makes her reconsider Tanya's pain.

Realizing that Tanya truly needs justice, Abhira changes her mind. She returns and assures Tanya that she will fight the case against Krish. Relieved and hopeful, Tanya agrees to officially hire and pay Abhira. Later, Disha invites the Poddars for dinner. Abhira also arrives there and faces criticism from Dadi Sa, who taunts her for entering the house as a lawyer instead of as family.

Abhira announces that she has accepted Tanya's case. Kaveri becomes furious and argues that Abhira is risking the Poddar family's reputation. But Abhira stands firm and declares that a woman's safety and dignity are more important than protecting the family name. Kaveri asks what will happen if the Poddars refuse to cooperate.

Before Abhira can answer, Armaan intervenes and warns everyone that Abhira will not hesitate to turn the courtroom into a battlefield if necessary. The entire Poddar family is left shocked, realizing that a major confrontation is about to begin.
