World Chocolate Day 2026: Sony SAB Artists Share The Sweetest Details Behind Their Chocolate Obsessions
Mumbai, June 30, 2026: Whether it's a reward after a long day, a nostalgic childhood favourite, or simply an instant mood-lifter, chocolate has a way of making every occasion a little sweeter. This World Chocolate Day, Sony SAB artists Srishti Singh, Iqbal Khan, Gulki Joshi, Muskan Bamne, Toral Rasputra, and Manish Wadhwa open up about their favourite chocolate indulgences, the memories attached to them and why they continue to hold a special place in their hearts.

Srishti Singh, who plays Dr Vaani in Yaadein, shared, "If there's one thing I completely lose all self-control around, it's dark chocolate. I absolutely love it, especially dark chocolate cake. In fact, I can happily finish an entire dark chocolate cake by myself without any guilt! My friends know that if there's dessert on the table, I will always reach for the darkest chocolate option. For me, it's not just a dessert, it's pure happiness on a plate and World Chocolate Day is probably the one day I don't even pretend to have any restraint."
Iqbal Khan, who plays Dr Dev in Yaadein, shared, "People often ask me if I have a sweet tooth, but honestly, I think I have sweet teeth! Chocolate has always been my biggest weakness. Whether it's chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, or chocolates from different parts of the world, I absolutely love them all. Over the years, I've become quite a chocolate connoisseur, I genuinely feel I could write a thesis on chocolate! One of my favourite memories is from before Sneha and I got married. Whenever we met, we'd buy a half-kilo rich Dutch truffle chocolate cake and finish the entire thing between the two of us. It became our little tradition, and even today, every time I have a slice of chocolate cake, it reminds me of those days. For me, chocolate isn't just a dessert, it's happiness in every bite."
Gulki Joshi, who plays Dr. Srishty in Yaadein, shared, "My fans know I have a huge sweet tooth, and I think they've made it their personal mission to make sure I never run out of chocolates! They keep sending me chocolates and cakes on set so often that it actually reached a point where I had to put up an Instagram story saying, 'Please stop sending me chocolates or I'll get fat!' Of course, I say that jokingly because every gift comes with so much love and thought behind it. I truly cherish the gesture... although resisting all those delicious chocolates is definitely the hardest part!"
Muskan Bamne, who plays Shanaya in Pushpa Impossible, shared, "I'm someone who loves trying different desserts, but if there's one thing I can never say no to, it's chocolate brownies served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. That's my ultimate comfort dessert. Whenever I'm celebrating something, or even if I just want to treat myself, that's always my first choice."
Toral Rasputra, who plays Kunti in Hastinapur Ke Veer, shared, "I have a little ritual whenever I travel. No matter where I go, I make it a point to try a local chocolate treat or dessert that's special to that place. Whether it's a chocolate modak from my hometown Mumbai, or a signature chocolate pastry from a local bakery, I love discovering how every place has its own take on chocolate. It becomes one of my favourite travel memories, and whenever I think back to a trip, I often remember
the chocolate I enjoyed there just as much as the places I visited. For me, chocolate isn't just a dessert, it's a delicious way of experiencing a new place."
Manish Wadhwa, who plays Bhishma Pitamah in Hastinapur Ke Veer, shared, "I wouldn't say I have a huge sweet tooth because I do have to be mindful of my health, but dark chocolate is one indulgence I can never resist. I almost always have a few pieces in my bag because it's my favourite little treat. One of my sweetest recent memories is from Father's Day on the sets of Hastinapur Ke Veer, when the children playing the Pandavas and Kauravas surprised me with cards and so many chocolates. It was such a heartwarming gesture, and I still have many of those chocolates with me because they remind me of that beautiful moment. But if I had to choose my absolute favourite, it would be the handmade chocolates my daughter, Vanshika, makes. She makes them so beautifully that no store-bought chocolate can ever match them for me."
