Seher Hone Ko Hai new lead: The cat is finally out of the bag. After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that Rishita Kothari is being replaced in Colors TV's Seher Hone Ka Hai. While the channel and the production house remained tight-lipped about the development, rumours have been rife about the big change in the romantic drama.
Parth Samthaan and Rishita Kothari have remained in the headlines ever since it was revealed that the duo faced issues on the sets. Things got escalated when media reports suggested that a negative PR trend was circulated against Parthaan.
Considering the issues that cropped up off-screen, the makers decided to put an end to the drama and replace one of the leads. Rishita Kothari, who plays Seher, has been replaced. And the development has now been confirmed.
Sources close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat Assistant Editor Abhishek Ranjit, "The decision has been taken. Rishita will bid adieu to SHKH, paving way for a new Seher, who will take over the charge from her. Parth has already done a mock shoot with the new Seher."
Who Will Replace Rishita Kothari In Seher Hone Ko Hai?
Gossip mills earlier suggested that Himanshi Parashar, Riya Sharma and Shivangi Joshi have been approached to play the titular role in the serial. Himanshi even gave an audition but things didn't materialise between her and the production house.
The makers have finally decided who will play the new Seher opposite Parth Samthaan. Guess what? Bhavika Sharma has been confirmed as the new lead of Seher Hone Ko Hai, according to a report in Times Of India.
Seher Hone Ko Hai airs at 8:30pm from Monday to Friday on Colors channel. The show was shifted from 10pm to a prime time slot, but the TRPs never saw a rise. If the numbers don't improve even after the lead's replacement, the channel is expected to take a call and pull the plug on the show.
