The Grand Finale Part 1, telecast as episode 55 of MTV Splitsvilla X6, placed Sorab and Niharika, Tayne and Soundharya, Gullu and Kaira, and Yogesh and Ruru in direct competition. The hosts Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra explained that time would decide the champions, as the couple completing the full task in the least time would win the season.

The grand finale challenge involved several linked stages built around trust, speed and strategy. In the first stage, the girl was secured at the top of a tower. The boy had to smash through each floor’s ceiling, grab a numbered box on every level, and then reach the top. Those numbers were needed to unlock the girl’s restraints using the correct combination.

Once the lock opened, the couple jumped from the tower and moved to the second stage. Here, they needed to break five red flag pots and collect keys inside them. Only one key opened a chest. After unlocking it, the pair advanced to the third stage, where another tower held a chest with pieces of a heart that needed assembly.

With the heart pieces gathered, the couples faced the fourth stage, a trust bridge. They had to cross this bridge without falling; any fall meant going back to the start of that section. After clearing the bridge, pairs reached the final stage, where they completed a heart puzzle, which also marked the end of the entire grand finale task.

Throughout the structure, organisers placed four briefcases, each worth 5 lakh rupees. Teams were required to pick up these briefcases while performing the stages. After a couple collected the fourth briefcase, they received an option from the mischief makers to quit the race and walk away with 5 lakh rupees, but no pair accepted that offer, and everyone completed the task.

Before the task began, mischief makers Uorfi Javed and Nia Sharma introduced a crucial twist using six envelopes. Two carried advantages, two contained disadvantages and two provided nothing, tagged as hard luck. Couples had to bid on these envelopes using their split coins, and any disadvantage won could be assigned to a rival pair, adding a layer of strategy before the physical challenge.

The four finalist couples entered the bidding round with different split coin balances. Their coin counts were announced as follows:

The envelopes went to the highest bidders. Niharika and Sorab bought envelope one for 1,20,000 split coins but received only hard luck, gaining no advantage or disadvantage. Gullu and Kaira secured envelope two for 1,10,000 and earned an advantage that allowed them to transfer only three heart pieces instead of four in the heart section.

Yogesh and Ruru picked up envelope three for 1,10,000 and gained a 30-second head start at the beginning of the grand finale task. Tayne and Soundharya won envelope four for 80,000 and used its power to delay Gullu and Kaira by 30 seconds at the start. Tayne and Soundharya also imposed another disadvantage on Yogesh and Ruru, forcing that pair to break seven red pots instead of five.

Earlier in the episode, the four finalist couples, Sorab and Niharika, Tayne and Soundharya, Gullu and Kaira, and Yogesh and Ruru, celebrated reaching the MTV Splitsvilla X6 grand finale. All ex-Splitsvillains then re-entered the villa to join them. Diksha and Himanshu appeared disappointed about missing the finale lineup despite their earlier efforts on the show.

The reunion triggered fresh conflict as Anisha and Chakshdeep clashed in a loud argument. Both traded allegations and insults, accusing each other of being involved in a romantic relationship before entering MTV Splitsvilla 16. After the tense exchange, contestants received a notification summoning the finalists to the location of the grand finale task, where they would meet the hosts and start their last challenge.

Once the four couples arrived at the venue, Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra greeted them and detailed the rules of every stage. The hosts clarified that the complete performance, including time, briefcase collection and handling of twists, would decide the season’s final ranking.
