With Tamil OTT platforms continuing to expand their line-up of original shows, the upcoming release has now drawn attention among viewers looking for light drama with a sports backdrop.

Mammatiyaan Stars follows a group of cricket fans from a small village who travel to Chennai to watch their hero's final match live. What begins as a dream trip soon turns into an eventful journey filled with friendship, emotions and unexpected twists. Set against the backdrop of cricket fandom, the series traces how the group's shared passion for the game shapes their journey and the experiences they go through together.

The story unfolds as more than just a trip to a cricket match, with the journey bringing together moments of hope, bonding and personal struggles along the way.

The cast includes Vaibhav Murugesan, Lavanya Anbazhagan, Venkeda Balamurali and Jagabar Sathik in central roles. The supporting line-up also features Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Vivek Prasanna, Sampath Ram, Sarath Ravi and Hello Kandhasamy.

The series is directed by Savir Sudhakar, who has also contributed to the screenplay and writing along with Naveen Rajkumar, Kalai Selvan and Vinu Karthikeyan. It has been produced by S. Singaravelan under the SS Group banner. The technical crew includes P.M. Rajkumar as cinematographer, Pavithran K as editor and Barath Dhanasekar as the composer of the background score.
