Idhayam Murali Box Office Collection Day 4: Atharvaa's Film Crosses ₹16 Crore Worldwide Gross

Idhayam Murali Box Office Collection Day 4: Atharvaa-starrer Idhayam Murali has completed its first Monday at the box office with a decline in collections after a stronger opening weekend. The Tamil coming-of-age romantic drama, which hit theatres on July 10, has now entered Day 5 of its theatrical run on Tuesday, July 14.

According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, Idhayam Murali earned an estimated ₹1.50 crore India net on Day 4 (Monday). The film was screened in 1,382 shows across the country and registered an overall occupancy of 24%. With this, its cumulative India net collection has reached ₹10.70 crore.

The latest figures indicate that the film experienced a 60.5% decline from Sunday's collection of ₹3.80 crore.

Based on the reported estimates, the film's India gross collection now stands at ₹12.31 crore. Overseas, it added another ₹0.50 crore on Monday, taking its international gross to ₹4 crore. As a result, the film's worldwide gross collection has reached ₹16.31 crore after four days in theatres.

Idhayam Murali Cast and Crew

Written and directed by Aakash Baskaran, Idhayam Murali marks the filmmaker's directorial debut. The film has also been produced by him under the Dawn Pictures banner. It features Atharvaa in the lead role, alongside Kayadu Lohar, Preity Mukhundhan, Natty Subramaniam, Ramki, Thaman S, Niharika NM, Rakshan, Dravid Selvam, Sudhakar, and Pragya Nagra. Actor Fahadh Faasil makes a special cameo appearance in the film.

The project is also notable for composer Thaman S, who not only composed the soundtrack but also returned to acting after more than two decades. The cinematography has been handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and CH Sai, while Pradeep E. Ragav has edited the film.

With Day 5 now underway, the film's weekday performance will determine how it sustains its theatrical run before the upcoming weekend.
