Idhayam Murali Box Office Collection Day 2: Atharvaa-starrer Idhayam Murali witnessed an increase in collections on its second day in theatres after opening on July 10, 2026. The Tamil coming-of-age romantic drama has now completed two days at the box office, while its Day 3 (Sunday, July 12) collections are currently in progress.

According to box office tracking website Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated ₹3.15 crore India net on Day 2, improving on its opening-day performance. With this, the movie's total India net collection has reached ₹5.05 crore after two days.

The latest estimates also place the film's India gross collection at ₹5.81 crore so far. The film began its theatrical run with ₹1.90 crore India net on its opening day across 1,283 shows, recording an overall occupancy of 30%. On Saturday, collections increased to ₹3.15 crore from 1,375 shows, while occupancy improved to 43%, reflecting stronger audience turnout during the weekend.

With Sunday business underway, attention will now shift to the film's Day 3 performance, which will determine its opening weekend total before the film enters its first full weekday run.

Idhayam Murali Cast And Crew

Written, directed and produced by Aakash Baskaran under the Dawn Pictures banner, Idhayam Murali is a Tamil coming-of-age romantic drama. The film stars Atharvaa in the title role alongside Kayadu Lohar and Preity Mukhundhan. The supporting cast includes Natty Subramaniam, Ramki, Thaman S, Niharika NM, Rakshan, Dravid Selvam, Sudhakar, and Pragya Nagra, while Fahadh Faasil appears in a cameo role.

The project marks Aakash Baskaran's directorial debut and also sees Thaman S return to acting after more than two decades. Besides acting in the film, Thaman has also composed the soundtrack. Cinematography has been handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and CH Sai, while Pradeep E. Ragav has edited the film.

With Day 3 collections still being recorded on July 12, a clearer picture of the film's opening weekend performance is expected once Sunday's theatrical shows conclude. Updated box office figures are likely to be available after the final screenings of the day.
