Con City Box Office Collection Day 2: Arjun Das's Film Sees Growth, Crosses ₹2 Crore India Gross

Con City Box Office Collection Day 2: Arjun Das and Anna Ben-starrer Con City registered improved collections at the domestic box office on its second day after releasing in theatres on June 26. The Tamil crime comedy recorded higher collections on Saturday, taking its India gross earnings past the ₹2 crore mark.

According to estimates published by box office tracking portal Sacnilk, Con City earned ₹1.04 crore net in India on Day 2. The film had opened with ₹0.75 crore net on Friday, resulting in a two-day India net total of ₹1.79 crore. According to Sacnilk, the film's India gross collection has reached approximately ₹2.06 crore.

The Day 2 figures indicate an improvement over the opening day, with Saturday collections rising by nearly 39 percent. According to Sacnilk's tracked data, average occupancy increased from around 20 percent across 972 tracked shows on Friday to about 25 percent across 943 tracked shows on Saturday.

With Day 3 (Sunday, June 28) currently in progress, attention will now shift to whether the weekend momentum helps the film register another increase in collections before entering the weekday phase.

Con City Story, Cast And Technical Team

Written and directed by Harish Durairaj, Con City blends crime, comedy and family drama. The story revolves around a family attempting to leave its troubled past behind. However, when a young boy named Jeeva is kidnapped, they are forced to revisit old conflicts and undertake a mission that could change their lives.

The film features Arjun Das and Anna Ben in the lead roles alongside Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, Sakshi Vaidya, VTV Ganesh, Radha Ravi, Aruldoss, Thambi Ramaiah, Ramesh Thilak, Ponvannan, Imman Annachi, Shaji Chen, Dheepa Ramanujam, Nanda Gopal and several others in supporting roles.

The music has been composed by Sean Roldan, while Aravind Viswanathan has handled cinematography. Arul Moses A serves as the editor, with production design by Raj.

Con City has been produced by Harish Durairaj under Power House Pictures in association with Maali & Manvi Movie Makers, Klout Studios and Silver Tree Studios. The Tamil Nadu theatrical release is being handled by Delta Studios, with distribution by TRS Muthukumaar and K J Ayyappan.
