72nd National Film Awards 2026 Full Winners List (South): The regional South films shine big time again! Several acclaimed films from the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries emerged as major winners at the 72nd National Film Awards 2026, dominating India's biggest film honors.

After a two-week delay, the winners were officially announced today (July 18) by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in New Delhi. From Dhanush's Raayan to Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran, several blockbuster and critically acclaimed Tamil films walked away with top honours at the prestigious ceremony.
