ZEE5 Upcoming Films, Web Series List: OTT Platform Unveils Multilingual Content Slate With New Originals

Streaming platform Zee5 has unveiled its biggest multilingual content slate to date, announcing a line-up of original series, films, live sports, animation and AI-powered content across seven Indian languages.

The slate spans Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada and Bangla, and includes collaborations with production houses such as Jio Studios, Maddock Films, Tips Films, Pen Studios, Reliance Entertainment, Annapurna Studios, Sri Venkateswara Creations, KVN Productions, Acropolis Entertainment and Surinder Films, among others.

In Hindi, the platform announced original series such as "Kambli", inspired by the life of former India cricketer Vinod Kambli, "The Scam: Leaked", "Coffee King", "Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai 2.0", hosted by R Madhavan, the revival of "Zee Horror Show", as well as new seasons of "Rangbaaz", "Janaawar" and "Bakaiti". The Hindi film slate includes theatrical and direct-to-digital premieres such as Varun Dhawan-starrer "Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai", Anurag Kashyap's "Bandar", Kangana Ranaut-led "Bharat Bhagya Vidhata", "Pooja Meri Jaan", starring Mrunal Thakur and Huma Qureshi, "Sarvgunn Sampann", "Ghamasaan", "Ikroop" and "Dalimb".

Among the regional offerings, the Tamil slate features series such as "Ananthakaalam", "Thee Kural", the return of "Koose Munisamy Veerappan" and "Thadayam", along with films including "Demonte Colony 3", "Hi!" and "Raawadi". In Telugu, the streamer announced originals "Shrimathi" and "Objection Mylord", a new season of talk show "Jayammu Nishchayammu Ra", and films such as "Venky Anil 5", "NBK111" and "Vrushakarma". Kannada titles include a new season of "Ayyana Mane", originals "Bitcoin Scam" and "Operation Bangara", and the film "Karavali". Malayalam offerings include "A Queen", "Malabar Cup", "Kerala Underground" and "Balan the Boy".

Marathi audiences can look forward to a new season of "Hey Kay Navin?", "Aga Aai, Aaho Aai", "Tumbadchi Manjula" and "Bhootam Bhayam", while the Bangla slate includes new seasons of "Shwetkali" and "Lalbazaar", besides "Aloor Dosh" and "Priyo Bondhu". Tejkarran Singh Bajaj, Business Head, Zee5 India, said the platform aims to shape the entertainment landscape through diverse storytelling.

"This slate is our biggest statement of intent yet, bringing together some of India's most celebrated filmmakers, production houses, and performers across movies, series, live sports, AI-powered storytelling, animation and kids' content in seven languages," Bajaj said in a statement.

Raghavendra Hunsur, Chief Content Officer, Zee, said the platform's strategy is centred on stories that resonate across languages, genres and formats. Beyond films and series, Zee5 said it is expanding its offerings in live sports with properties such as FIFA, Bundesliga, ILT Season 5 and the Tamil Nadu Kabaddi League, while also investing in AI-driven storytelling, animation and children's programming.
