Cheryl Cole as TV show judge in reel life

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole has been kicked out of US X Factor but she has landed up with something similar. She is going to play a TV talent show judge in her first film, What To Expect When You're Expecting. Her appearance at the Cannes film festival seems to have impressed the makers of the film.

Cheryl will appear in this comedy drama starring Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Anna Kendrick, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock and Matthew Morrison. The movie is based on a best-selling pregnancy guide.

It may be recalled that music mogul Simon Cowell replaced Cheryl with Nicole Scherzinger during the first week of audition. He recently expressed his regret for not giving her enough time.
