National Film Awards 2026 Today Time & Where To Watch Online: Live Streaming Details, Announcement Time

National Film Awards 2026 Today: The winners of the 72nd National Film Awards will be announced today, July 3, as the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is set to unveil the results at a press conference in New Delhi. The annual awards honour excellence in Indian cinema across feature films, non-feature films and writing on cinema, recognising works that were certified during the 2024 calendar year. The eligibility period for this edition covers films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1 and December 31, 2024.

The selection process has already been completed by an 11-member Central Jury, headed by filmmaker Jayaraj. This is not his first association with the National Film Awards, having previously served as a jury member in 2012. The jury examined entries from multiple Indian languages before finalising its recommendations.

Among the Malayalam films attracting attention ahead of the announcement are Bramayugam, Manjummel Boys, and Kishkindha Kaandam. These films are among the prominent Malayalam entries in this year's National Film Awards.
