Toxic ‘Ladies & Ladies' Promo Video Out: Yash's Film Puts Its Leading Women In Focus Ahead Of August Release
Toxic 'Ladies & Ladies' Promo Video Out: The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have unveiled a new promotional video titled "Ladies & Ladies", shifting the focus to the film's ensemble of female characters ahead of its theatrical release. Released on July 1, the video offers the first collective look at the women who play key roles in the period gangster drama led by Yash.

Rather than revealing additional story details, the promotional clip focuses on introducing the personalities and visual identities of the film's principal female cast, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The video also offers a brief glimpse of Yash's character, Raya, before transitioning into an action-heavy sequence.
The video opens with an unusual disclaimer cautioning that it is intended for mature audiences before transitioning into a voiceover that reflects on love, deception and power. The narration sets the tone for a stylised presentation of the film's female characters without disclosing major plot points.
Each actor is presented in a distinct visual setting. Nayanthara is seen riding a motorbike amid explosions, while Kiara Advani appears in a glamorous setting surrounded by fire performers. Tara Sutaria is introduced in a sophisticated lounge with a classic noir-inspired look. Rukmini Vasanth is shown wielding a handgun on a grand staircase, hinting at an action-oriented character, while Huma Qureshi appears in a dimly lit vintage-style setting, dressed in a black sequined outfit with a lace eye veil and holding a long cigarette holder.
The latter portion of the video transitions from character introductions to an action sequence. Yash's character, Raya, is shown preparing for a confrontation inside a bar before challenging a group of women assassins with the line, "Do you want to come one at a time... or all together?" This is followed by a series of fast-paced fight scenes featuring hand-to-hand combat, shattered glass and stylised action choreography.
