Filmmaker Priyadarshan Calls Balan-The Boy A Landmark Thriller Ahead Of Its Release On THIS Date

Veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan has heaped praise on Balan-The Boy, describing it as one of the finest films he has watched in recent years. Backed by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, the much-anticipated thriller is directed by Chidambaram, best known for Manjummel Boys, and written by Jithu Madhavan of Aavesham fame. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn, the film is set for a multilingual theatrical release in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil on 19th June 2026.
