Cocktail 2 Overseas Review: Shahid Kapoor and has massive fan following has all the reasons to be on cloud nine and rightfully so. After all, the handsome actor, who was last seen in O'Romeo earlier this year, is coming with his second release of the year and we can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Cocktail 2 which also features Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon in the lead. Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 is the spiritual sequel to the 2012 release Cocktail which featured Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty in the lead.

Interestingly, Cocktail 2 marks Homi Adajani's first collaboration with Shahid and Rashmika while the ace filmmaker is collaborating with Kriti for the second time after the 2017 release Raabta. On the other hand, the romantic comedy also marks Shahid's first collaboration with Rashmika and their fresh chemistry has been one of the key elements of the movie. Apart from the lead cast, Cocktail 2 has also been making headlines for its peppy songs which have been hitting the chartbusters lately. As Cocktail 2 has hit the screens, we have our hands on the overseas review of the movie.

He gave the movie a rating of 3 stars and wrote, "It's a decent rom-com Entertainer with grand scale & beautiful visuals, but the Soul of the film is missing and everything feels flat".
On the other hand, self proclaimed critic Umair Sandhu, who is based in London, shared the review and wasn't much pleased with Cocktail 2. While he lauded Rashmika and wrote, "Rashmika is perfect Desi & Classy Girl mixture", he called Cocktail 2 cringe with too much drama and gave it a 2 star rating.
Meanwhile, as there are reports about Cocktail 2 featuring Kriti and Rashmika as lovers, the Mimi actress, during the recent promotions clarified, "There is no lesbian story. I know, we do have that chemistry. We are three straight people, guys. It's only an emotional threesome, not physical".
