Celebs Join Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) Protest: It has been exactly a month since the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) launched its protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET-UG question paper leak controversy.

While several celebrities have remained silent on the ongoing movement, a few big names from the showbiz have come forward to openly express their support for the CJP-led protest.

Educator and social activist Sonam Wangchuk's indefinite hunger strike in support of the CJP intensified the movement, drawing nationwide attention.

Veteran actors like Shabana Azmi and Prakash Raj also reached the Jantar Mantar to express their support. In one of the videos that has gone viral on social media, the National Award-winning actress is seen interacting with the protesters and extending her support to them. She is also seen holding the hands of those on an indefinite hunger strike, gently comforting them and planting a kiss on their hands. Shabana Azmi's heartfelt gesture has touched many and won widespread appreciation online.

Actor-politician Prakash Raj revisited the protest site on Sunday, continuing to show his support for the demonstrators. Speaking to those gathered, he said, "I am with you tonight. I am right here. We will see what happens," assuring the protesters that he stood firmly by their side.

He later posted a selfie video from the venue on social media with the caption, "Youth of our country are #JustAsking." While the actor refrained from making a detailed speech in the clip, he filmed the protesters chanting slogans in the background and said, "That's youngsters fighting for the cause," before ending the video with a smile.

CJP Protest: Celebs Who Reached Jantar Mantar

Besides Shabana Azmi and Prakash Raj, actress Swara Bhasker and comedian Kunal Kamra have been visiting Jantar Mantar, extending their support.

On Sunday, actress Poonam Pandey also joined the CJP protest and appealed for justice.
