Alpha X Review: Is Alia-Sharvari’s Film A Paisa Vasool Entertainer Or A Waste Of Time? Check Tweets

Alpha X Review: Yash Raj Films is here with another addition to its spy universe and we can't keep calm about it. After giving movies like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, War 2 and Tiger 3, it has now come with the much talked about Alpha which has been one of the most anticipated releases of 2026. Directed by debutant Shiv Rawail, Alpha is an action thriller starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in the lead. To note, the movie presents Alia in the role of an assassin and this is the first time she will be seen in an out-and-out action thriller.

Interestingly, while Bobby Deol said to play the role of a lead antagonist, Alpha marks Alia's first collaboration with him, Sharvari and Anil Kapoor. On the other hand, Alpha marks Sharvari's second release of the year after Imtiaz Ali directorial Main Vaapas Aaunga and clearly proves her versatility. While Alia is hitting the big screen after two years, Alpha trailer and teaser has already got everyone brimming with an opinion. Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, a user wrote, "Watched #Alpha: MIND-BLOWING 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The movie is stylishly shot and twists in the plot keeps you seated with anticipation. Alia Bhatt steals the show completely and Sharvari Wagh is my crush now, what an act. Not saying anything about cameos". Another user dropped hints about Alpha climax and tweeted, "The Inside Reviews - Reports & Reactions About #ALPHA⚡️Are Stupendous & Overall Good In Every Aspect 💯 Amazing Story - Engaging ScreenPlay & Cinematography - Banger Climax 💥 Don't Leave Your Seats Until The Post/End Credit Scene Arrives".

One of the users also tweeted, "#alpha First Half One-Word Review: Average. ⭐️ The story is a flop, but the action scenes are good. The music is a complete disappointment. Alia fails to impress, while Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor deliver solid performances. Sharvari's acting is just okay".

Meanwhile, as there have been reports about a rift between Alia and Bobby Deol on Alpha sets, the latter had dismissed the reports and told India TV, "Mujhe bhi ek dost ne bheja uss rumour ka snapshot. Main bhi hairaan ho gaya. Log itne velle hai ki kuch bhi likh ke bana dete hai. Alia is a very good actress and she is very professional. She works very hard. Alia was also prepared for all the fight sequences that she had to do. Toh mujhe nahi samaj mein aaya kisne kya soch ke ye sab rumours likhe. I can't go around proving the point to anybody.
