Alpha Budget, Box Office Target: Amid a decent buzz and high expectations, Shiv Rawail-directed Alpha has finally hit the theatres, and moviegoers are looking forward to watching it. The seventh film in Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe, it is the first female-led spy drama of the franchise and features Alia Bhatt alongside Sharvari in the main roles.

As Alpha has finally made it to the silver screen, it'll be interesting to see how it will perform at the box office amid the ongoing stiff competition from previous releases like Welcome To The Jungle and Main Vaapas Aaunga. Besides the two leading ladies, the spy thriller also features Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in important roles.

The trailer presents Alpha as a stylish action thriller that expands the YRF Spy Universe with Alia Bhatt in the lead. She plays Sita, a trained assassin whose life has been defined by violence, discipline and a single mission - to kill. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film revolves around her complicated bond with Bobby Deol's character, who trains her before turning into her greatest enemy.

The trailer also confirms that Sharvari joins Alia on a dangerous mission, although details about her character have been kept under wraps. With the two actresses leading the story, Alpha stands out as a rare addition to the spy franchise that puts female protagonists at the centre of the action instead of supporting the male heroes.

Anil Kapoor also makes a notable appearance. His character appears to be closely linked to the Alpha programme and is expected to guide and support Alia and Sharvari as they take on Bobby Deol's powerful antagonist.

According to reports, the estimated budget of Alpha is around Rs 125 crore, including P&A.

If we talk about its box office target, Alpha needs to collect between Rs 65-85 crore to ditch the flop tag. For the clean hit verdict, the spy thriller should earn at least Rs 140 crore.
