72nd National Film Awards 2026 Winners List (Bollywood): The wait is finally over! It's time for Indian cinema's biggest celebration! After a two-week delay and weeks of anticipation, the winners of the 72nd National Film Awards have finally been announced. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting unveiled the prestigious honours today (Saturday, July 18) in New Delhi, recognizing the finest films and performances certified during the eligibility period.

72nd National Film Awards 2026 Winners List In Bollywood: Who Won What?
It is a landmark moment for Kartik Aaryan and Yami Gautam, as both the actors clinched their first-ever National Film Awards. While Kartik won the honor for his power-packed performance in Chandu Champion, Yami bagged the award for her enthrilling performance in Article 370.
Rajkummar Rao starrer Srikanth, based on the inspirational life of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla, bagged the Best Film in Hindi in the feature category.
Randeep Hooda marked a major career milestone by winning the Best Debut Film of a Director award for Swatantrya Veer Savarkar at the 72nd National Film Awards 2026. Meanwhile, Stree 2 and Maidaan were also among the films honoured at this year's prestigious awards ceremony.
