Baaghi is directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It also features Sudheer Babu in an important role.

According to the recent reports, Baaghi's plot is lifted from the 2011 Indonesian film The Raid: Redemption and the 2004 Telugu movie Varsham.

The lead actor of Baaghi, Tiger Shroff, has trained very hard for the movie. Reportedly, the actor also joined some stunt classes and is seen performing some breathtaking stunts in the movie.

Also, not many people know that Tiger Shroff never hires a body double and has performed all the stunts himself in Baaghi. " Growing up, my inspirations were Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, all these martial arts legends. I wanted to express my talent on screen in a certain way. I felt that it made me a little different,'' Tiger Shroff told India Today.

The actor further added, ''I don't really feel the need to be mentally prepared. The need to be mentally prepared is only for my character."
