The actor, who had earlier grabbed eyeballs for Bhooth Bangla earlier this year, is now creating waves for his recent release Welcome To The Jungle. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Welcome To The Jungle, which earned Rs 20cr on day 2, is expected to see a hike in collection and earn over Rs 25cr today (day 3/ first Sunday). As a result, Welcome To The Jungle is expected to cross Rs 65cr mark after the opening weekend. In fact, the movie saw a good start at the box office today with a collection of Rs 4.49cr from morning shows which had an occupancy of 18.23%

Welcome To The Jungle To Beat Welcome Back and Welcome

Interestingly, if the prediction turned out to be true, Welcome To The Jungle is likely to beat the first Sunday collection of Welcome Back (Rs 19.5cr) and Welcome (Rs 7.52cr) and will also record the highest opening weekend of the franchise.

Interestingly, as Ahmed Khan brought Akshay and Raveena together after 22 years on the big screen, he told Mid Day, "Both Raveena and Akshay have been such good friends of mine. We have known each other for over 30 years and because we go back so long, we know what has happened in each other's lives".
