Dhamaal 4 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2: Ajay Devgn starrer Dhamaal 4 has been one of the most talked about films of the year and there are no second thoughts about. The adventure comedy, which is helmed by Indra Kumar, is the fourth installment of the popular Dhamaal franchise after Dhamaal, Double Dhamaal and Total Dhamaal. Interestingly, Dhamaal 4 has come with the stellar cast including Ajay, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Anjali Anand, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Esha Gupta.

To note, Dhamaal 4 marks Riteish's 6th collaboration with Ajay Devgn after Masti, Cash, Himmatwala, Total Dhamaal and Raid 2. Needless to say, their camaraderie is once again winning hearts. As Dhamaal 4 managed to create a lot of buzz in the town, the movie witnessed a decent start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 14cr at the domestic box office. Not just in India, the movie has also been creating waves at the worldwide box office.

Dhamaal 4, which minted Rs 5cr in the overseas market on the opening day, witnessed a steady hold abroad. The movie made a collection of Rs 5cr in the overseas on day 2 (first Saturday). As a result, Dhamaal 4 raked in Rs 10cr in the overseas in two days, while the overall worldwide collection turned out to be Rs 53.8cr

Dhamaal 4 Fails To Beat Bhooth Bangla In Overseas

Interestingly, as Dhamaal 4 has been witnessed comparisons with Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla, it failed to beat the latter in the overseas. For the uninitiated, Bhooth Bangla had minted Rs 10cr on day 2 in the overseas with a total overseas collection of Rs 19.5cr after two days and a worldwide collection of Rs 61.5cr

Meanwhile, talking about the factors contributing to the success of a sequel, Ajay stated, "I think sequel tabhi work karta hai jab uske characters logon ko pasand aajaye. Chahe yeh (Dhamaal 4) le lijiye, Golmaal le lijiye. Woh characters ko naam se jaante hain. Ek baar characters ke saath audience jud jaati hai na toh we can take the story forward (I think a sequel works only when the audience connects with and likes its characters. Whether it's this franchise or something like Golmaal, people know those characters by name. Once the audience forms a bond with the characters, we can continue taking the story forward)".
