Alpha Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 4: Alia's Film Sees 68% Dip In Overseas; Fails To Touch 20cr

Alpha Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 4: Alia Bhatt has collaborated with Bobby Deol for the first time and we can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Alpha which is an action thriller by debutant Shiv Rawail and is bankrolled Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films. Also starring Anil Kapoor and Sharvari in the lead and a cameo by Hrithik Roshan, Apha has been one of the most anticipated releases of 2026. For the uninitiated, Alpha features Alia in the role of an assassin and the trailer had added to the fans excitement for the movie.

However, despite the massive buzz and promotions, Alpha witnessed a disappointing response from the audience and critics. In fact, film critic Taran Adarsh had tweeted, "Weakest film in the #YRFSpyUniverse... Brilliant action set pieces, stunning visuals, and a few well-executed sequences, but the writing simply doesn't connect... Missed opportunity!". While Alpha did witness a decent start in the overseas with a good hold during the weekend, the first Monday came with a massive blow for the movie.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Alpha, which earned Rs 4.8cr on day 3 in the overseas, saw a dip of 68.75% in numbers and earned Rs 1.5cr on day 4 (first Monday). As a result, the movie failed to touch Rs 20cr mark in the overseas and made a total collection of Rs 18.3cr in 4 days.

On the other hand, Alpha made a collection of Rs 63.64cr after 4 days of release at the worldwide box office.

Meanwhile, as there have been reports about a rift between Alia and Bobby Deol on Alpha sets, the latter had dismissed the reports and told India TV, "Mujhe bhi ek dost ne bheja uss rumour ka snapshot. Main bhi hairaan ho gaya. Log itne velle hai ki kuch bhi likh ke bana dete hai. Alia is a very good actress and she is very professional. She works very hard. Alia was also prepared for all the fight sequences that she had to do. Toh mujhe nahi samaj mein aaya kisne kya soch ke ye sab rumours likhe. I can't go around proving the point to anybody.
