Alpha Hit Or Flop: Alia Bhatt has collaborated with Bobby Deol for the first time and their first project has been creating waves in the town ever since it was announced. We are talking about Alpha which is helmed by Shiv Rawail and is touted to be an action thriller. Bankrolled by Yash Raj Films, Alpha also features Sharvari and Anil Kapoor in the lead. While Alia Bhatt plays the role of an assassin in the movie, Bobby Deol is said to be the lead antagonist in the movie.

To note, Alpha marks Alia's first collaboration with Anil and Sharvari and the movie presents the ladies in a never seen before avatars. Interestingly, Alpha happens to be the seventh installment of YRF's spy universe and given the success of the spy universe, fans have been pinning high hopes against the movie. And while Alpha has finally opened to mixed reviews, there have been speculations about whether this Alia and Sharvari starrer will be a hit or a flop at the Indian box office.

According to film business expert Rohit Jaiswal, Alpha is made with a budget of Rs 75cr and is shot in Mumbai, Kashmir, and Valladolid

Rohit further stated that Alpha will be making a collection of Rs 7.5-8.6cr on its day of release in India

If the prediction turned out to be true, Alpha will emerge as the lowest opener of YRF's spy universe which includes movies like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3 and War 2. Besides, it is expected to be Alia's second lowest opener in the post COVID 19 era and will record Sharvari's highest opener of all times.

Will Alpha Be A Hit Or Flop?

While Alpha has managed to create a massive buzz in the town with its teaser, trailer and stellast cast, it is expecting a slow but decent start at the box office. However, in order to get the hit tag, as per Rohit Jaiswal, the movie will have to earn more than Rs 140cr in its lifetime at the Indian box office. However, the exact results will depend on how Aplha will fare at the box office in the coming days.
