Alpha Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Alia Bhatt is all over the headlines these days and rightfully so. After all, the diva, who was last seen in the 2024 release Jigra, is now back on the big screen with her recent action thriller. We are talking about Alpha which has been one of the most anticipated releases of 2026. Directed by debutant Shiv Rawail, Alpha presents Alia in the role of an assassin while Bobby Deol is seen as the lead antagonist in the movie which also stars Sharvari and Anil Kapoor in the lead. On the other hand, a cameo by Hrithik Roshan has been a cherry on the cake.

To note, Alpha has been the seventh installment of YRF's spy universe which include blockbusters like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Tiger 3, War, War 2 and Pathaan. Interestingly, while Alpha was released worldwide on July 3, the movie saw a good start at the worldwide box office and earned Rs 5cr in the overseas with a worldwide collection of Rs 15.8cr. On the other hand, the domestic box office witnessed a slow start by Alpha but is expected to pick pace during the weekend despite mixed reviews

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Alpha, which recorded an occupancy of 9.92% on day 1 during morning shows, saw a dip in footfalls today (day 2/ first Saturday) during morning shows and registered an occupancy of 9.69%

Given the ongoing trend, Alpha is expected to see an uipward trend in collection today with a hike of over 50%. The movie is likely to make a collection of Rs 13-15cr today and will be crossing Rs 25cr at the domestic box office. However, if the reviews turned out to be poor, the tables can turn with a dip in numbers on the second day. In fact, the movie had minted Rs 38 lakhs from the morning shows until 1 pm. It will be interesting to see if Alpha can pick up pace during the day.

Meanwhile, talking about working with Bobby Deol, Alia stated, "I call Bobby Deol a gentle giant because he is so overpowering on screen as a persona, but has the most gentle soul. When we were doing our scenes together, I realised that he could do something that's so unassumingly brilliant that even he was oblivious to his craft. That's how good he is! It didn't feel like he was ever trying to act. He is a natural".
