Here's All About The Illegal Online Movie Piracy Accused: The Telangana High Court recent granted bail to Emandi Ravi, the organizer of the illegal online movie piracy website iBomma. The accused, who is widely known by the namer iBomma Ravi, was taken into the custody by the cyber cell officials for operating illegal online piracy website, in November 2025.

For the uninitiated, iBomma Ravi is one of the most controversial figures in the Telugu film industry, and the South Indian piracy racket. The website owner was arrested in November 2025 for his involvement in the large scale piracy activities, which majorly focuses on the South Indian films, especially the Telugu film industry.
Emmadi Ravi aka iBomma Ravi was operating through a website named iBomma, where he used to screen movies of different languages on the release day itself. As expected, this practice received a major support from the audiences, who were actively complaining about the hiked movie ticket prices in the Telugu states.
The cyber police took iBomma Ravi into their custody in November 2025, after tracking the activities of his website, for a very long time. As per the reports, the piracy kingpin was operating his websites remotely from the Carribbean Islands. Ravi was reportedly focusing majorly on the uploading and distribution of pirated Telugu films and OTT content, and made a profit of ₹3 crore.
As per the reports, the cyber police team arrested iBomma Ravi, who was visiting France at that time, after he returned to Hyderabad city. He was taken into custody from the Kutakpally town for Hyderabad. After his arrest, the investigation team had also moved to the court seeking an immediate action to freeze his bank accounts, and it was immediately granted.
