Vaazha 2 Telugu Box Office Collection Day 4: Strong Hold On First Monday, Can The Film Enter The ₹10 Cr Club?

Vaazha 2 Telugu Box Office Collection: Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros, the Malayalam coming-of-age comedy drama, emerged as one of the biggest Malayalam box office performers of 2026 and is continuing its run in Telugu markets after the dubbed version hit theatres on April 24. As the film enters Day 5 on Tuesday, April 28, trade updates suggest that the Telugu version has managed a stable first Monday and is showing signs of sustained audience interest.

Directed by Savin SA in his directorial debut and written by Vipin Das, Vaazha 2 serves as the sequel to Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys (2024). The film stars Hashir H., Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V. in lead roles, with Vijay Babu, Aju Varghese, Bijukuttan, Alphonse Puthren, and Sudheesh appearing in supporting parts.

According to box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty, the Telugu-dubbed version collected a gross of ₹3.78 crore in its first four days. The distributor share is reported to be around ₹1.85 crore, while the break-even target for the Telugu theatrical rights stands at ₹3.50 crore.

This means the film has recovered approximately 52.85 percent of its theatrical value within four days of release. The tracker also noted that the film posted a "good hold" on its first Monday, earning over ₹60 lakh gross, which is often seen as an important indicator of weekday sustainability for dubbed releases.

With Day 5 now underway, industry observers are watching whether the film can maintain this pace through the working week and move closer to profitability in the Telugu states.

The tracker also pointed out that only a handful of dubbed Malayalam films have crossed the ₹10 crore gross mark in Telugu markets so far. Titles such as Pulimurugan, 2018, Premalu, Manjummel Boys, and Lokah have entered that list. The question now is whether Vaazha 2 can join them in the coming weeks.
