Vaazha 2 Telugu Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Hashir's Film Targets Over ₹3 Cr Opening Weekend

Vaazha 2 Telugu Box Office Collection Prediction: Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros continued to expand its theatrical reach as the Telugu version of the Malayalam coming-of-age comedy drama entered Day 3 on Sunday, April 26. After a strong run in Kerala, where the original version emerged as a major box office success, the dubbed Telugu release is now aiming for a solid opening weekend in the Telugu states.

The Telugu version of Vaazha 2 was released in theatres on April 24, following the strong theatrical run of the Malayalam original, which had already emerged as one of the biggest Malayalam hits of 2026. Directed by Savin SA in his directorial debut and written by Vipin Das, the sequel follows the success of Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys (2024).

According to box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty's post on X, the Telugu version collected around ₹1.93 crore gross in the Telugu states during its first two days. The reported distributor share stands at approximately ₹95 lakh.

The tracker also noted that the Telugu theatrical rights were valued at ₹3.50 crore as the break-even target. Based on the current numbers, the film has reportedly achieved around 27.14 percent recovery so far.

With Sunday expected to bring stronger footfalls, the film is now targeting a weekend total in the range of ₹3.15 crore to ₹3.40 crore gross. The tracker described the opening as strong and pointed to significant Sunday loading as a key factor for the weekend total.

The film revolves around four friends, Hashir, Alan, Ajin, and Vinayak, who are often seen as failures and troublemakers by their parents, teachers, and relatives. As they grow older and face increasing pressure to conform to expectations, they go through personal struggles that shape their understanding of responsibility, identity, and acceptance.

The lead cast includes Hashir H., Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V., while Vijay Babu, Aju Varghese, Bijukuttan, Alphonse Puthren, and Sudheesh appear in supporting roles.

The Malayalam version of Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros was released on April 2, 2026, and went on to become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year. The film also entered the list of the highest-grossing Malayalam films overall, strengthening expectations for its dubbed Telugu release.
