The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 1 Early Update: Following the blockbuster success of Kalki 2898 AD in 2024, anticipation around Prabhas' next theatrical release, The Raja Saab, had reached fever pitch. Directed by Maruthi, the Telugu-language fantasy horror comedy finally hit cinemas today, Friday, January 9, amid strong expectations from fans and trade circles alike. The big-ticket entertainer, headlined by Prabhas, is among the most expensive Telugu films made in recent times.

On the digital front, a report by OTTPlay suggests that the makers have locked JioHotstar as the film's official OTT streaming partner. Once its theatrical run wraps up, The Raja Saab is expected to make its digital debut exclusively on the platform.

While the team is yet to announce an official streaming date, industry chatter indicates that the film could arrive on OTT by the end of February. An official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.

The RajaSaab, however, seems to have fallen short of the massive expectations on its opening day. Initial audience feedback and early reviews have been largely unfavorable, with many pointing out issues related to the narrative, uneven tone, and overall execution.

As per real-time figures reported by Sacnilk, the Prabhas-starrer has earned approximately ₹19.19 crore in net collections on its opening day till 6:00 PM. In addition, the film had already secured ₹9.15 crore from paid premiere shows held yesterday. With these numbers combined, The Raja Saab stands at a total collection of around ₹28.34 crore so far.

As per Sacnilk data, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde's Radhe Shyam had posted an impressive ₹43.1 crore net on Day 1, driven largely by the Telugu belt, which alone contributed ₹37.91 crore to its opening total.
