Dacoit Now On OTT: The Telugu action-romantic drama Dacoit: A Love Story has made its digital debut following its theatrical release last month. Directed by debutant filmmaker Shaneil Deo, the film features Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles.

Released in cinemas on April 10, 2026, the film was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi. Apart from the lead pair, the cast includes Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla in supporting roles. The project was backed by producer Supriya Yarlagadda under the banner of Annapurna Studios.

The story revolves around Haridas, also known as Hari, a convict who comes out of prison carrying deep resentment toward his former lover Saraswati. According to the film's premise, Hari believes that betrayal from Saraswati led to his imprisonment. Following his release, he becomes involved in a chain of robberies while pursuing revenge, eventually leading him back into Saraswati's life. The narrative links their personal conflict with a wider criminal network, forming the central thread of the film.

The screenplay was co-written by Shaneil Deo and Adivi Sesh. Cinematography for the film was handled by Danush Bhaskar, while the music was composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. The background score was created by Gyaani, with additional score contributions from S. Anant Srikar. Editing duties were handled by Kodati Pavan Kalyan.

The technical crew also included production designer Sri Nagendra Tangala, costume designer Rekha Boggarapu, and action choreographers A Vijay, Maibam Nabakanta, Rabin Subbu, King Solomon, Jeevan Botimala, and Naba. Post-production work, including DI, sound mix, and VFX, was completed at Annapurna Studios.

After completing its theatrical run, Dacoit: A Love Story has now arrived on OTT. The Telugu version of the film is currently streaming on Prime Video. Along with Telugu, the film is also available in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on the platform.

The OTT release comes nearly a month after the film's theatrical debut, giving audiences who missed its cinema run an opportunity to watch it at home. With its mix of romance, crime, and revenge-driven storytelling, the film has now expanded its reach to streaming viewers across multiple language markets.
