Tejasswi Prakash Reacts To Karan Kundrra Getting A Tattoo Of Her Face: He Takes A Lot Of Pride

Television star Tejasswi Prakash has reacted to boyfriend Karan Kundrra getting a tattoo of her face, calling the move a heartfelt surprise. Linking the gesture to her new OTT series Psycho Saiyaan, Tejasswi described Karan as her playful "psycho saiyaan" and admitted the tattoo plan was kept from her until the reveal.

The actor, currently seen in Psycho Saiyaan on Amazon Prime Video, said the tattoo became an unexpected part of the show’s promotions. Tejasswi shared that she knew there were unusual marketing ideas being discussed, yet Karan’s decision to ink her face was not clearly communicated to her in advance.

Recalling how the idea was pitched, Tejasswi explained that the team had spoken to her in general about such a stunt. However, the final call rested with Karan. She remembered thinking that any detailed discussion should happen with Karan instead, which is why the final tattoo reveal felt sudden when she finally saw it.

Talking about Karan’s support, Tejasswi exclusively told Telly Talk India, "Karan has always been my biggest cheerleader. I honestly don't know how to promote myself or my show much, which is actually a very important skill that many people have. I see people around me — Munawar Faruqui, Elvish Yadav, Urfi Javed, Bharti Singh — they promote their projects so well. I don't know how to do that. And Karan is also very good at it. I learn a lot from him because this is one department where I really lack. Somewhere, Karan handles that part for me."

Tejasswi went on to say that Karan’s decision to highlight Psycho Saiyaan comes from genuine belief in the series. She shared his response after watching initial footage and added another quote: "He takes a lot of pride in every project that I do. And the only reason Karan even decided to promote the show is that he genuinely loved it. At that time, he had only seen the trailer and the teaser. But after working on it so much, he said that you develop a judgment and it's a good show."

The couple has watched three episodes of Psycho Saiyaan so far. Tejasswi said both enjoyed the viewing session and felt pleased with how the show has turned out. She mentioned they had fun watching the episodes together, as the early response within their close circle has stayed very positive.

Describing her own reaction to the ink once more, Tejasswi said the gesture felt "very sweet" yet entirely unexpected. She recalled thinking, “Oh, it actually happened,” when she finally saw the tattoo. When asked whether she would ever return the gesture, Tejasswi joked that Karan is the “psycho” and her “saiyaan,” not the other way round.
