Naagin 7 New Entry EXCL | Mohit Duseja On Joining As Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary's Brother: My Inner Child...
Naagin 7 Exclusive: After a year of realigning, travelling, and building his fitness business, actor Mohit Duseja is back where he says he belongs - on set. And not just any set. The actor joins Balaji Telefilms' flagship franchise Naagin 7, playing Kapil, the flirtatious younger brother of Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary's character Apara, with a big heart and bigger dilemmas.

"It feels incredible - like coming back home," Mohit expresses, talking to Filmibeat and added, "I actually took that time off by choice. I was doing projects back-to-back, and I realized I needed to pause, realign with my creative vision, and figure out the path I truly wanted."
MOHIT DUSEJA ON JOINING TV'S BIGGEST FRANCHISE NAAGIN 7
For Mohit, the decision of joining Naagin 7 was instinctive. He says, "For me, it's never about the length of a project - it's about the value it adds. Naagin is the biggest franchise on TV, and Balaji Telefilms is one of the biggest names in the industry. Being part of that is a win in itself."
"Our industry is uncertain. Sometimes a 2-year show doesn't give you anything, and sometimes even a small role takes you places you never imagined. You have to trust your instinct, and I was 100% sure about this one. Not a single doubt," he added.
Talking about the response to his character so far, Mohit stated, "The memories, the exposure, the grandeur, and the love I've gotten from fans since my first episode - it's been unbelievable."
MOHIT DUSEJA OPENS UP ABOUT HIS NAAGIN 7 CHARACTER
Talking about his role, Mohit revealed, "I play Kapil - he's the younger brother in a middle-class family that runs a small printing press. He's that fun-loving, outgoing, flirtatious guy every young boy will relate to. He cribs about business duties, loves to have fun, and has a big heart. And yes, Kapil might just find himself in a romantic tangle too. With Balaji's supernatural world, there's always something unexpected around the corner for Kapil and his family. The team and the writers have crafted every character with layers, so you'll have to watch to see what unfolds for him."
This also marks Mohit's first stint with Colors. Sharing the same, he said, "Plus, this is my first time working with Colors, a channel I've admired forever. I've been a huge Bigg Boss fan since childhood. Who knows where this journey leads?"
On being asked about working with Ekta Kapoot, he concluded, "And honestly, working with Ekta ma'am... I grew up watching her shows like Kasautii Zindagi Ki. As a kid coming to Bombay, every actor dreams of working with her. Whether it's for a month or a year, that dream coming true is what matters. My inner child is thrilled."
