Maa Ke Haath Ka Aam Panna To Set Pe Nimbu Paani: Sony SAB Actors Share What Gets Them Through The Summer
Mumbai, 8th May, 2026: As the summer heat makes itself felt across the country, staying cool and hydrated becomes as important as anything else on a busy day. For Sony SAB artists, working on set under bright studio lights and demanding schedules make this an even bigger priority. This summer, Nitin Babu, Gulki Joshi, Samridh Bawa, and Akshaya Hindalkar open up about the drinks and remedies they turn to when the temperature rises, and the refreshments that never fail to lift their spirits.

Nitin Babu, who plays Chirag in Pushpa Impossible, shared, "I have learnt over the years that staying hydrated is not just about drinking water, it is about what you eat and how you pace yourself through the day. On set, I always have a bottle of nimbu paani or fresh lime water close by. It keeps the energy up without making you feel heavy. At home, I love a good glass of chilled buttermilk after a long day. It cools the body from within and there is something so comforting about it. These are simple things, but they make all the difference when you are working through the hottest months of the year.
Gulki Joshi, who plays Srishti in Yaadein, shared, "Hydration is something I take very seriously, especially in Mumbai where the heat and humidity together can really drain you. I increase my intake of water, fresh juices, and coconut water through the day and try to eat lighter as well. Naariyal Paani is the one thing I never say no to in summer, it is natural, cooling, and so good for the body. I also keep a small water spray with me on set for an instant refresh between shots. Our elders always said drink before you feel thirsty, and I truly believe that is the best advice anyone can follow in this season."
Samridh Bawa, who plays Ashwin in Pushpa Impossible, shared, "Summer in Mumbai is something you have to really prepare for. On shoot days, I make it a point to keep sipping water through the day because it is very easy to forget when you are caught up in work. But what truly refreshes me is a chilled glass of aam panna, just like the one my mother used to make back home every summer. She would get the balance of tangy and sweet just right, and that one glass was enough to take all the tiredness away. Living away from home, it's these small things that I miss the most. It's not just a drink, it's a feeling."
Akshaya Hindalkar, who plays Rashi in Pushpa Impossible, shared, "Summers on set can get quite hectic, so I've learned to be very mindful about staying hydrated. I usually carry a big bottle of infused water with me. Sometimes adding mint, lemon, or even a few slices of fruit, just to keep it interesting through the day. It really helps me stay energised without feeling too heavy. I also make it a point to take short breaks whenever possible and cool down, even if it's just for a few minutes. For me, it's all about finding simple, practical ways to stay refreshed and keep going despite the heat."
