Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile Fame Gouri Agarwal Opens Up About Kirti’s Shift From Positive To Dark: Had To Remind...

Zee TV's Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, starring Bharat Ahlawwat (Raghav) and Aayushi Khurrana (Reet), is keeping viewers hooked with its ongoing dramatic track, where Kirti (Gouri Agarwal) is leaving no stone unturned to separate Reet and Raghav. Of late, Kirti's character has been undergoing a massive transformation.

What initially began as a positive role gradually shifted to grey and has now evolved into a completely dark character. From falsely accusing Raghav to physically harming Reet, and even going to the extent of harming herself, Kirti is crossing every possible limit.

While these intense sequences have received a lot of appreciation from viewers, Gouri Agarwal reveals how this drastic character transformation has impacted her personally, adding that she constantly has to remind herself that all of Kirti's actions are purely driven by the character's mindset, even though justifying them emotionally has been extremely challenging.

Recalling the scenes which have been extremely challenging for her as an actor, Gouri shares, "There have been sequences where, honestly, my own sense of morality has resisted, and I found it difficult to perform those scenes wholeheartedly because of the emotional weight they carried. However, as an actor, I had to constantly remind myself that I am serving the character's journey. Such scenes have been both emotionally and physically demanding, as I have to ensure, as an actor, that the scenes look convincing without overstepping any boundaries."

She further adds, "Ever since Kirti's character transitioned into a negative space, it has been a continuous process of aligning myself with her mindset. The extent she goes to, whether it is causing harm to Reet and Raghav, displaying aggression, or pushing herself to extremes, is quite intense. Understanding and justifying those actions on an emotional level has been extremely challenging."

As of now, the upcoming track will see Reet deciding to leave Raghav after Kirti puts forth a shocking condition: the only way Raghav can be freed from jail is if Kirti appears in court and reveals that she is alive. However, she agrees to do so only if Reet divorces Raghav. It will be interesting to see whether Kirti succeeds in her manipulative plan or if Reet and Raghav find a way to reunite against all odds.
