Bigg Boss 19 runner-up Farhana Bhatt has reacted emotionally to the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, saying Kashmiris are “shaken to the core” after the strike that, according to US President Donald Trump, involved both the United States and Israel and left the 86-year-old leader dead.

Iranian state media announced Khamenei’s death in the early hours of March 1, a day after Donald Trump stated that a joint US-Israeli air strike hit Khamenei’s compound on February 28. While some people in other countries reportedly celebrated the attack, large crowds in Iran gathered to mourn and express grief on the streets.

While speaking about Ali Khamenei’s death, Farhana said, "He was a personality we can't forget ever. He will stay alive in our hearts. All Kashmiris are shaken to the core after the incident. And you won't believe seheri ke baad main bilkul soyi nahi. I was so sad. This should never have happened." Farhana described Khamenei as someone many people saw in almost spiritual terms.

Farhana then added, "Kaafi logon ke liye woh ek messiah the. He will definitely stay alive in our hearts and minds." Her comments suggest a strong emotional connection among some Kashmiris towards Khamenei, even as opinions about the Iranian leader remain divided internationally, with celebrations in some places and public mourning in Iran itself.

Farhana Bhatt Reacts To Khamenei's Death After TV Slogan Controversy

A few weeks before the air strike, Iranian state television faced an unexpected moment during live coverage. A reporter, who intended to echo the usual political slogan against Washington, instead shouted "death to Khamenei" while on air. The slip occurred during state-organised rallies marking the anniversary of the 1979 revolution that brought in Iran's current theocratic system.

The error cost the journalist a job and also highlighted deep internal anger towards Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was reportedly killed in the US and Israeli airstrikes over the weekend. After nearly four decades at the top of a nation of more than 90 million people, Khamenei had become a highly disliked figure for many Iranians.

Khamenei’s killing has underlined how sharply views differ about the long-time leader, from public mourning across Iran to celebrations elsewhere, while Farhana Bhatt’s statement shows that sections of Kashmiris feel a personal sense of loss, describing Khamenei as unforgettable and insisting the incident should never have taken place.
