Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan’s Indira Krishna On Deep Connect With Mahakal: Mahashivratri Is One Of Closest Festivals…
Mahashivratri Update: February 15 brings with it the divine energy of Mahashivratri, a festival that celebrates devotion, discipline, and deep spiritual connection with Lord Shiva. It is a night believed to amplify prayers and meditation, encouraging devotees to turn inward, reflect, and surrender to the higher power.

Across the country, people mark the occasion with fasting, temple visits, night-long prayers, and offerings, embracing the calm yet powerful aura that surrounds this sacred day.
On this auspicious occasion, Indira Krishna, who plays Durgavati in Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, shared, "For me, Mahashivratri is one of the closest festivals, just like Ganpati. I celebrate the day by making a sweet for Lord Shiva. I start the auspicious day with dhyan for 20 mins in the name of the lord Shiva with silence maintained within me. The energy on this day feels very different, so I make sure to keep everything around me peaceful and also observe a fast. I watch the Isha live program through the livestream, which helps me stay connected with the larger celebrations. My journey with Mahakal began in 2015, and since then, I surrender and connect with him the most. Whatever I am today is completely because of his blessings. Om Namah Shivay!"
Her words beautifully capture the essence of surrender, devotion, and the transformative energy that Mahashivratri represents.
Meanwhile, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan remains one of the most loved shows on television. Fans have wholeheartedly embraced Siddhu, played by Sheizaan Khan, and Sneha, played by Amandeep Sidhu, as a cherished on-screen jodi. As the drama intensifies, viewers are eagerly waiting to find out whether Siddhu and Sneha will ultimately unite or if Durgavati, portrayed by Indira Krishna, will succeed in separating them forever.
